As the City of Rock Hill Poet Laureate & a storyteller, I have the honor of providing poetry workshops to schools, universities, and life-long learning groups throughout the year while continuing to facilitate national workshops. Providing workshops in Rock Hill, SC, allows me to give back to my community and to empower individuals to follow their dreams and to tap into the power of their voices.
Rock Hill, thank you for being a part of my journey.

The Power of Poetry
Jorge Luis Borges
"Truly fine poetry must be read aloud. A good poem does not allow itself to be read in a low voice or silently. If we can read it silently, it is not a valid poem: a poem demands pronunciation."
